Wendy

Wendy introduced me to 43 things and LJ. She has a real ability to sell things by revealing her passion and this is one of the things I love most about her, along with her enthusiasm for life, her thirst for knowledge, including self knowledge, and her exceptional parenting ability. Wendy is one of the few people on this planet who I do truly love (with her son being another) and she has been one of my greatest role models for how to parent my son.

I’ve known Wendy in real life for about 5 and a half years and feel we have a strong mutual bond where we can be silly and supportive together. I only wish we didn’t live half a world away.

I’ve known Kvratties for several years – we were “real life” friends first, but now that we live half-way across the world from one another, I’m very glad to have her as an Internet friend!

KV is one of my favorite people, and she probably knows me as well as just about anyone in the world. She’s smart and sweet and funny and I love her a lot! hugs

I love flyingblogspot for so many reasons! Because she’s funny and smart and wonderful and always tells me the truth about stuff when I need to hear it. And she is an amazing, generous host! And she has cute cats! There are loads of other reasons, too. Basically, she ROCKS! :)

I met Wendy over a wonderfully long wedding weekend in San Francisco last year. As she said, we kicked everyone’s butt over the HP trivia contest (well, we were sorted into Ravenclaw so had to play to type). At the time I was bowled over by her energy, enthusiasm and warmth, and I still feel the same way. In fact, I’d go so far as to say that she has been quite an inspiration to me in some ways – particularly when thinking about how positive she is. She’s one of those rare people who are incredibly energetic, but who make you feel energised as well, rather than draining you of your own reserves. I know I’m going all Celestine Prophecy there, but I expect everyone knows what I mean. She’s reminds me of Tigger, and I hope that she never loses her bounce.

We met about a year ago, at the wedding of some dear friends (one of whom is Joyliveshere). We kicked some BUTT at the HP trivia contest together (we DID win, didn’t we? I know I blew that one question, but I’m pretty sure we’d already blown past everyone else by that point, right)? In any case, it was great getting to met you, Cat, and I hope we’ll get the chance to do it again sometime.

And yes – we will talk about yoga sometime soon! (That comment you made on LJ was how I knew to look for you here). hugs
